Hassan Allam Holding wins the contract for sewage treatment in Minya

Hassan Allam Building Company, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding, has been awarded the construction of the Maghagha sewage treatment plant in Minya by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, according to a Facebook post by Hassan Allam Holding.

The company will be in charge of engineering, procurement, and construction for the entire facility, which will have a capacity of 30,000 cubic metres per day and will be expanded to 60,000 cubic metres per day in the future. The plant will be built through a joint venture between Hassan Allam Construction and PGESCo's engineering division.

This project is part of Hassan Allam Holding's strategy to "take advantage of the group's multiple synergies and vertical integration," according to Hassan Allam Holding. The Maghagha Wastewater Treatment Plant Project is expected to play a critical role in reducing pollution of local water sources and improving wastewater collection and treatment in the five towns surrounding Magagha.

Furthermore, the holding company stated that this is part of Egypt's aim to provide sufficient infrastructure for rural cities and improve the quality of life for these disadvantaged populations.
